The Traditional Datça Almond Blossom Festival commenced on Friday, February 14, with an opening parade attended by Muğla Governor İdris Akbıyık, Muğla Metropolitan Mayor Ahmet Aras, and Muğla Members of Parliament Gizem Özcan and Cumhur Uzun, along with other provincial and district officials. The Presidents of the Muğla Commodity Exchange and Chambers, affiliated with the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), also participated in the event.
